A colorful and animated 30 second motion graphic advertisement for a soda company called FreshFizz.
The Concept and The Process
My goal was to create a colorful, visually compelling, simplistic, and seamless design for an energizing soda company called FreshFizz Soda in 2 weeks.
I started by collecting motion graphic inspiration and storyboarding a potential plot for the advertisement. My biggest constraint for FreshFizz was the time frame, meaning I had to iterate quickly and animate efficiently in Adobe After Effects. Predominantly bold and warm colors were chosen to represent the brand, as well as dull versions of them in order to emphasize the energizing qualities of FreshFizz. Typographically, I used Owners for its bold sans serif nature that conveyed a strong visual presence as well as legibility. Since there was a preexisting FreshFizz logo design, I made no alterations.
In reference to my storyboard prior to starting digitally, I made minor alterations especially in timing, however overall it remained relatively accurate.
